It is believed that Tito was born in a small beach village of Todos Santos, in the middle of Mexico’s Baja peninsula. Or maybe it was just outside of Hali ‘ewa, on the North Shore of Oahu. Then again, it might have been the town of Balboa, on the Pacific coast of Panama.
Truth is, no one’s quite sure where he’s from! Whenever asked, Tito simply leans back and scratches the growth on his chin and replies (using his own brand of language that we refer to as “Tito-speak”), “I come from da beach, brah. And no matter where I am, I will always be at da beach!”
Spoken like a true hedonist!
It is that love for the hedonistic lifestyle of the beach, and the good times that come from it that is the soul of Tito’s Burritos!
Tito’s Burritos’ slogan is, “It’s all good!”, and that motto applies to the overall philosophy of our business. In other words, we are 100% committed to offering our customers nothing but goodness. That means the tastiest food, prepared and served in a casual and easy-going manner, at a good value. We use only the freshest ingredients in everything that we prepare, and every order is custom made the way that YOU want it. It might take a couple of minutes longer, but we’ll make sure that it’s worth the wait!
If you’re eating here, kick back and enjoy the music, or the “wish I was there” TV, which runs the finest in hedonism
It is our wish that you enjoy everything that Tito’s Burritos has to offer, and that your experience leaves you feeling that “It’s all good”!
Mahalo!
PS: You might see Tito around the shop every once in a while, but sightings are indeed rare! After all, you can’t be a true hedonist and a workaholic! And we love Tito just the way he is, so we’ll cut him a little slack if he only shows up occasionally for a little chow and to pick up some spending money!
“Tito-Speak” is a unique language that Tito himself has cultivated during his many travels and travails. It is an odd mishmash of words, largely consisting of the colloquialisms used by surfers, along with a bit of Spanish, and also the Hawaiian slang known as “Pidgin”.
